The Fort Garry Campus of the University of Manitoba is well connected to other areas in Winnipeg by a public bus system. Winnipeg's public bus transit system is called Winnipeg Transit. FARES

There are several options for paying bus fare.

Cash: If you pay by cash, the fare is $2.25.* You must pay with exact change.

Tickets: Bus tickets can be purchased in sheets of 10 for a cost that is slightly less than the equivalent cash fare. One ticket is required each time you get on the bus unless you have a valid bus transfer.

Bus Passes: Bus passes can be purchased in several durations: monthly, weekly (Monday to Sunday), or weekly (Monday to Friday). The cost for a bus pass depends on the duration of the bus pass, your age, and whether or not you are a student. You must show your bus pass each time you get on a bus. If you have a reduced fare bus pass, you must also show your identification. University students are eligible for bus passes at a reduced rate.
