Program fees

English language program/ Mixed program (English component only):
1 semester C$3,000* (plus additional costs on a per course basis)

Pre-university level program

UTP Stage 1: 2 semesters C$10,000*

University level programs

UTP Stage 2 in Business: 3 semesters C$11,000*
UTP Stage 2 in Arts: 3 semesters C$11,000*
UTP Stage 2 in Science: 3 semesters C$11,500*
UTP Stage 2 in Engineering: 3 semesters C$12,000*

* All amounts are listed in Canadian dollars. The actual tuition costs for students may be higher or lower depending on their specific choice of courses.  As of September 1, 2010 tuition costs will be as follows: English language component C$3,300 per semester; UTP Stage I C$11,000, UTP Stage II programs C$11,800. 

Other fees and charges

English language program application (non-refundable): C$90

Homestay application (non-refundable): C$200

Homestay: C$2,400* (4 months)

On-campus accommodation application: C$40

On-campus accommodation - refer to the University of Manitoba accommodation website:

Medical insurance (compulsory): 12 months C$456

Student services (compulsory): Per year C$215*

Airport reception:  C$40 per student

Please note: Fees and charges are in Canadian Dollars (C$). Fees and charges are subject to change without notice.  As of September 1, 2010, changes in fees as follows:  homestay C$2700 (four months), student services fee C$250.
