Accommodation

ICM offers a range of accommodation options to suit your needs. These include on-campus accommodation, homestay and off-campus accommodation.

Students under 18 years of age must be in homestay accommodation.

University of Manitoba Residences (on-campus accommodation)

ICM students may apply to live in residences at the Fort Garry campus of the University of Manitoba, just a short walk from your classes. St. John’s College, St. Andrews College, Speechly Hall, Tache Hall, and University College, all feature:

  • Furnished rooms (bed, desk, chair and shelves)
  • Meal plans
  • Lounges with TVs and other recreational items
  • Laundry facilities
  • Microcomputer facilities

Life at the centre of it all, barbeque nights, movie nights and “rez” challenges are just some of the regular activities that make residence fun! Our student staff and volunteers are there to help you make the most of your residence experience – whether it is sharing study tips, letting you know where to find the best cup of coffee or inviting you to join in a sport activity. For many students, residence life is one the most memorable aspects of their undergraduate experience.

Please note that when completing the Residence and Housing Application form, you will be asked to enter your student ID number. ICM students should enter "ICM_" followed by your ICM student number as it appears in your Letter of Offer (for example, ICM_AABBC63).
